2011 Vosne Romanee Les Hauts Beaux Monts Vieilles Vignes

(from a south-facing hillside site planted at an altitude of 300 meters): Medium red. Raspberry liqueur and subtle spices on the nose. Juicy on entry, then a bit tart in the middle, showing more herbs and spices than primary fruit today. Youthfully taut but the tannins are reasonably supple. This is carrying a low pH of 3.3, but then Clavelier notes that that's normal for this wine.
