1988 Richebourg

The Richebourg was the most precocious of all the Grands Crus; an explosively rich, highly scented, celestial wine, it may not justify its exorbitant price tag, but it is still a profound bottle of great red burgundy. Drinkable now, it should last for up to a decade.
