2020 Ribolla Gialla

The 2020 Ribolla Gialla pulls you toward the glass with its depths of sweet melon and minty herbal tones complemented by hints of butter cream and mace. This is unbelievably soft in texture with depths of mineral-tinged orchard fruits, almost glycerol in feel and with a salty flourish that comes in late. It leaves tropical florals and foreign spices, as well as keeping the mouth watering for more. In 2020, Enzo Pontoni was able to harvest his Ribolla Gialla well into October with a large percentage of botrytis-infected berries which have added an exotic flair to the 2020 Pettarin. Give this beauty some time to fully blossom in the cellar.
