The 2022 Kai originates from the Max I and Max V blocks, planted in rocky alluvial soils in the early 1990s. It was fermented in stainless steel and matured for 18 months in 45% new French oak and contains 4% Syrah. The nose is pure, herbal and dark-fruited, quickly developing a lovely floral side that further lifts its aromas. The palate is posed, refined and fresh, concluding with a focused finish framed with vibrant acidity and discreet tannins.

Sourced from selected blocks in the Max I and V vineyards in the Aconcagua Andes, the 2022 Carménère Kai also incorporates 4% Syrah.
