Note di degustazione
Deep ruby. Lively, mineral-driven dark berry and cherry pit scents show good clarity, along with notes of floral oils and licorice. Offers an array of red fruit flavors, with smoky mineral and floral qualities adding lift. Closes sweet, spicy and long, with fine-grained tannins adding grip. In an elegant style and quite approachable already.

Made in a forward, soft and easygoing style, the 2012 Châteauneuf du Pape has plenty of toasted spice, licorice and assorted red fruits to go with a textured, medium-bodied feel on the palate. It excels on its balanced and sheer drinkability. It should evolve nicely through 2019.
Deep ruby. Black and blue fruits on the lively, spice-accented nose. Emphatically fruity and supple in texture, offering juicy boysenberry and black raspberry flavors and a hint of tangy orange pith. In a lithe, graceful style for Chateauneuf, finishing with energetic lift and cut.
Lieu-dit Cabrières. 54% Grenache Blanc, 20% Clairette, 19% Roussanne, 6 % Bourboulenc, 1% Picardan. RS 2 g/l. 80% inox and 20% barriques for 10 months. Very light nose. Off dry. Very simple. More substance than the average cheap white but to not that much avail. (JR)
