One of the highlights of the range is the 2020 Nuits-Saint-Georges Au Bas de Combe Vieilles Vignes, a lovely wine that mingles aromas of plums and cherries with hints of petals and sweet soil tones in an inviting bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, layered and nicely concentrated, with bright acids and powdery tannins, it's well worth seeking out. The vines here were planted in 1937.

The 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Au Bas de Combe Vieilles Vignes has a clean and precise bouquet with black cherries, crushed violet and boysenberry fruit. It takes time to unfurl in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannns, fine acidity, quite structured with a fresh, sappy finish. This should age nicely in bottle.
