Note di degustazione
The 2019 St. Georges is a burly, pleasantly rustic wine to drink now and over the next handful of years. Black cherry, licorice, spice and game are front and center.

The 2019 Château Saint Georges has lots of classic Right Bank minerality as well as ripe red and black fruits, graphite, violet, and dried spice-like aromas and flavors. With plenty of fruit, medium to full body, light tannins, and a great finish, it has outstanding potential.
The 2019 St. Georges is a hearty, pleasantly rustic wine. Inky dark cherry, plum, licorice, spice, grilled herbs, sage and menthol, come together in a powerful, burly wine with grippy tannins.
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Saint-Georges is a little closed and broody to begin, soon unfurling to reveal notes of baked black cherries, mulberries and plum preserves with touches of Marmite toast, wild mushrooms and damp soil plus a hint of hoisin. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has compellingly crunchy black fruits with a finely grained texture and well-balanced freshness, finishing earthy.
