Full bottle 1,298 g. Beautiful label. Blend of old bush vines above the River Bibei at 400 to 600 m. A blend of Godello, Treixadura, Doña Branca and Palomino. Spontaneous fermentation and ageing in barriques and foudres for 10 months. Really complex, sophisticated and refreshing. This is serious white wine! Great fruit/acid balance and with great waves of flavour on the palate. Really exciting! (JR)

The village white 2021 Branco de Santa Cruz, mostly Godello from a number of vineyards at 600 meters above sea level on granite soils, fermented and matured in barrel and foudres for 10 months. It has moderate ripeness, 13% alcohol and a pH of 3.32 denoting good freshness. It has notes of white flowers, pollen and some spiciness and is serious, harmonious and elegant. It has a dry palate with the granite granularity and a dry, tasty finish. It's elegant and sophisticated. Harvesting early paid off. 6,132 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2023.

In 1994, Telmo Rodríguez and Pablo Eguzkiza made their first wine together. This was the beginning of Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez, their joint project that looks to uncover the “real” Spain, working with old vineyards and indigenous varieties to recover the nation’s vinous heritage.
