The 2021 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley is coiled on the nose, taking time to reveal wafts of dried mushrooms, tea leaves and woodsmoke. The light-bodied palate is structured by vibrant acidity and velvety tannins, and it has a long finish with hints of floral perfume. It will benefit from an hour in a decanter. 498 cases produced.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley opens in the glass with a pretty blend of crushed black cherries, cinnamon sticks, dried flowers and cedar spice box. This is vividly fruit-focused and crisp, loaded with juicy acidity and mineral-tinged red berries that cascade across the palate. The 2021 finishes classically dry, leaving a floral concentration and hints of blood orange that pucker the cheeks. The Willamette Valley is a blend of all of Rose & Arrow's single vineyard sources, all on volcanic soils.
New bottling as of 2021. Mainly sourced from Dubay and Les Stevens vineyards. They began using large-format oak in 2021. Pale purple in colour. Incredibly citrusy mandarin-peel and earth nose, lightly gravelly. Intense, high acid line. Lightly grippy tannins. Elegant rose-tinged finish. Tightly wound.
