Note di degustazione
From two parcels, one of 44-year-old mass-selected vines, the other a 26-year-old 'selection clonale' at the southern end of the cru, below the Clos des Mouches and next to Pommard’s Clos des Epenots. 2,400 bottles produced. Cask sample. A fragrant mouthful that has deft, light-of-foot red fruit which is just singing to be drunk now. Great purity all dressed up in a satin veil of tannins, which is decidedly more present than you immediately think. Very fine, fruit-centred Pinot Noir. GV (MH)
