2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Triniceros

Lastly, and released only in magnum (of which there are a scant 500 produced), the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Triniceros is made by Michel Rolland and is a best barrel selection from all the lots available. It offers a more red and black-fruited profile, with incredible complexity in its tobacco, toasted spice, bouquet garni, and lead pencil-like aromas and flavors. This deep, rich, opulent wine has flawless balance, building yet ripe, polished tannins, an expansive mouthfeel, and one heck of an incredible finish. It's in the same ballpark as the 2018 and can be drunk any time over the coming 20-25 years. Tasted twice.
