2019 Chambolle Musigny Les Sentiers

The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers 1er Cru has a fragrant nose, more red than black fruit laced with orange zest, violets and a touch of oyster shell. This is well defined and nicely focused. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Tangy and spicy, it maybe does not quite kick on as I expected, but it will surely flesh out and gain length with time. Cellar for 3-4 years.
