Note di degustazione
The 2019 Couhins-Lurton Blanc is relatively primal on the nose, grapey though it seems well-defined. The aromatics just lack some personality. The palate is well-balanced with good acidity, subtle tropical notes, a little toasty towards the finish. What you might call a "punters' wine" insofar that it is not challenging but will have wide appeal. Tasted blind at the Southwold annual tasting.

Honeyed lime, chalky mineral, and tart pineapple notes all emerge from the 2019 Château Couhins-Lurton Blanc, a vibrant, medium-bodied, outstanding white. This classic Bordeaux Blanc can be drunk any time over the coming decade or so. It's impeccably made and well worth checking out.
The Couhins-Lurton 2019 Blanc has turned out nicely, offering up a lively bouquet of citrus zest, crisp orchard fruit and Sauvignon botanicals, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and precise palate, concluding with a saline finish.
