Outstanding - An exuberantly floral-suffused nose is perfumed, airy and wonderfully spicy. The lacy, pure and focused middle weight flavors display an almost aggressive minerality on the youthfully austere and equally long finale that is shaped by notably fine-grained tannins. This beauty of an Amoureuses is already stunningly good with the development potential to match. Pure class.

The 2022 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru has a far superior bouquet to the Les Fuées, with black cherry, forest floor, iris flower and light violet scents unfolding on the nose. The palate is medium-bodied with sapid red berry fruit and insistent grip. It has obviously more depth and concentration than the nascent 2023, with touches of white pepper and clove on the finish. Very fine.
Exotic scents of peonies, rose petals and Indian spices mingle with notions of ripe berry fruit and grilled game birds in an incipiently complex bouquet to introduce the 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses, a medium to full-bodied, supple and layered wine with a creamy core of fruit and a spicy finish.
