2021 Estate Syrah

The inaugural release of Syrah from The Hilt, the 2021 Syrah Estate, was sourced entirely from Bentrock and fermented with two-thirds whole clusters. A textbook nose of charcoal embers and grilled herbs introduces an elegant, silky palate with an undercurrent of savory, feral complexity. The finish combines juicy succulence with suave, persistent, fine-grained tannins and excellent length. This is a fantastic first release, and I look forward to tasting future iterations.
