Note di degustazione
The 2018 La Bernadotte has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and vague notions of stewed plums and baked blackberries on the nose with touches of bay leaves, tobacco leaf and spice box. The palate is medium-bodied and refreshing with lightly chewy tannins and an herbal lift on the finish.

The 2018 Bernadotte is a little tame on the on the nose and needs quite a bit of encouragement to reveal cedar and tobacco-infused black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with more red fruit on the entry and moderate weight, although I find the finish just a little dry at the moment. It does respond well to aeration, so I will keep the faith.
A mild touch of toffee along with red fruits are easy to find on the nose and palate. Soft, medium-bodied and easy to like, with a cherry and spicy red currant finish, give this a few years to fill out and it could be even better. 88 Points
Juicy cherry, blackberry, singed oak, and graphite notes emerge from the 2018 Château Bernadotte. Medium-bodied, with a juicy, crunchy, vibrant texture and ripe tannins, this solid effort should round into form with 2-3 years of bottle age and keep through 2032.
