2018 Dhondt-Grellet Les Nogers Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut

The 2018 Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru Les Nogers is vinous and demonstrative, bursting from the glass with aromas of peach, white flowers, honeycomb, warm bread and toasted hazelnuts. Full-bodied, broad and fleshy, it's ample and enveloping, with a layered core of fruit, impressive depth at the core and a resonant but precise finish. The open, giving style of the vintage makes this release especially charming, but it doesn't come at the expense of intensity of energy.
