Racked three week before my visit and due for bottling in December, the 2020 Nuits Saint-Georges Village has a lot of intensity on the nose with black cherries, creme de cassis and violet. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, crisp acidity, slightly brittle in texture towards the finish. Maybe just a little confit for my taste?

The rich, velvet-textured and concentrated medium-bodied flavors possess pretty good verve and length on the slightly warm finale. This will need to develop better depth to merit the upper-end of my projected range. (88-90)/2026+
