Note di degustazione
Rich, silky body, fruit forward and lush with berries, plums, marked by the oak, with a whisper of mint that keeps this wine refreshing straight through to a long finish. Still young.

The 2022 Château Péby Faugères is a bold, full-bodied effort showcasing ripe red, blue, and black fruits, chocolate, and graphite-driven aromas and flavors. A spicy saddle leather nuance adds complexity to this lush and weightless effort, and it brings a fruit bomb-like style while still holding everything together nicely. Brought up in plenty of new wood (beautifully integrated), it will evolve well for 20+ years.
The 2022 Péby Faugères has an attractive nose that is superior to the Faugères. It has better delineation and more complexity, with mulberry and blackcurrant scents upfront and light espresso scents in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy black fruit and quite firm tannins. It's less opulent than previous vintages with a brisk, lightly spiced finish. This is very promising.
This is very powerful and rich, with layers of fruit and loads of fine tannins that are silky and caressing, reminiscent of Napa. It\'s full and intense with plums, chocolate and lots of redcurrants. This is a wine that harks back to the early 2000s. Juicy and flavorful. Pure merlot. Best after 2028.
