Note di degustazione
The 2017 Mondot is a very pretty, bold and luscious wine. Dark red cherry, red plum floral notes and mocha all run through this bright, super-expressive wine.

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Mondot gives up notes of baked raspberries and mulberries with hints of stewed plums and underbrush. Medium-bodied, soft and juicy, it has a pleasantly fruity finish.
The 2017 Mondot, with just 5% new oak, has quite an intense bouquet with black plum and blackberry fruit, a touch of incense and iris in the background, the latter gaining in intensity with time. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannin, crisp acidity, commendable weight for a deuxième vin with a touch of charcoal lacing the black fruit towards the finish. Fine.
The 2017 Mondot is a gorgeous second wine. Plump, juicy and expressive, the 2017 exudes purity in its fruit. Raspberry jam, mocha, espresso and lifted floral notes all grace the palate. Silky tannins and beautifully lifted aromatics add to the wine's finessed personality. The 2017 is 100% Merlot.
