1985 Echezeaux

The Echezeaux has exceptional purity of raspberry fruit, deep color, a long, flowing fruitiness, medium to full body, and should age well until 1997. The young Emanuel Rouget, nephew of Henri Jayer, began making the wines of Jayer in 1987. He also has several small parcels himself, from which he produces these wines. They are not filtered and are bottled directly from the barrel.
