Note di degustazione
Composed of 95% Semillon and 5% Sauvignon Blanc, the 2008 Sigalas Rabaud features a pale lemon-gold color and nose of warm pineapple, guava and peach preserves with touches of honeycomb and toast. Elegant in the mouth with a lively backbone, it is drinking beautifully now, with complex earthy notions coming through on the long finish.

Tasted blind. Some freshness and vitality. A bit chewy too and not that sweet. For savoury dishes? (JR)
Bright medium gold. High-toned aromas of apricot, minerals and resiny spices. Very rich, tactile and smooth, with a slightly unctuous texture leavened by strong mineral-driven acidity, which gives cut and lift to the middle palate. This penetrating, elegant, tangy wine finishes long and savory, with good thickness and sneaky mounting length.
Bright zesty apricot. Oily and spiced and quite viscous. Lots of barley sugar flavour and depth. Concentrated with a mouthwateringly fresh finish, quite a bit of oak. (JH)
