Brilliant ruby. High-pitched aromas of cherry, raspberry and pungent flowers pick up spicecake and mocha qualities with aeration. Densely packed red and blue fruit preserve and floral pastille flavors are lifted and sharpened by juicy acidity and a jolt of white pepper. This concentrated but lively Grenache finishes with outstanding persistence and smooth tannins.

Pale to medium garnet in color, the 2013 Grenache Aerope offers a gorgeous perfume of kirsch, red roses, black raspberries, white pepper and baking spices with a touch of orange peel. Full-bodied, rich, opulent and oh-so-decadent, it has a lovely cushion of velvety tannins and plenty of freshness to lift the long, multi-layered finish.
