Note di degustazione
The 2018 Caroline has a medium garnet-purple color and notes of redcurrant jelly, kirsch and raspberry leaves, plus hints of sautéed herbs and damp soil. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers uncomplicated red and black berry flavors with an herbal undercurrent and chewy tannins, finishing savory.

The 2018 Château Caroline comes from the Moulis-en-Médoc region, with is situated between Margaux and Saint-Julien. Impressive notes of black raspberries, cassis, toasted spice, and vanilla bean emerge on the nose, and it's beautifully balanced, with a sweetly fruited, up-front style, some creamy oak, and a great finish. This is a pleasure-bent, well-made Moulis to enjoy over the coming 7-8 years.
Cru bourgeois supérieur. 65% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. Juicy and comfortable in itself. Gentle berry and toasted notes. Fine tannins. A touch of alcohol but good persistence and length. (JL)
A little hollow in the middle palate here, but it shows pleasant fruit and firm tannins.
