The 2020 Côte de Nuits Village Clos du Chapeau has a fragrant bouquet with dark cherries and raspberry preserve aromas, just a very slight, tinny scent in the background. The palate is well-balanced with grainy tannins, dark berry fruit, quite spicy with good depth on the finish. A gutsy Côtes de Nuits Village.
