The 2013 Langhe Nebbiolo Disanfrancesco is a terrific wine that imparts enormous pleasure and excitement with each sip. This is a medium-bodied expression of Nebbiolo that opens to a bright and buoyant bouquet. There are notes of wild berry, licorice and grilled herb. The smoothness and general silkiness of the mouthfeel are what make this wine so excellent to pair with lunches or light dinners.

Voerzio's 2013 Langhe Nebbiolo is another terrific example of the year. Striking aromatics give the 2013 much of its lifted personality. Sweet red cherries, crushed flowers, mint, citrus and white pepper are all beautifully sculpted throughout. This is an especially delicate wine that impresses with its poise and freshness.
