Note di degustazione
Good dark red-ruby. Musky aromas of cassis, black cherry and gibier. Intensely flavored, fine-grained and serious, with a seamless texture to the wild berry and subtle game flavors. Very Gevrey, and impressively concentrated for village wine. Finishes with sweet tannins and excellent length. Not at all austere.

(finished its malo very late, in August; vinified with 30% whole clusters): Bright red-ruby. Musky aromas of black cherry, chocolate liqueur and game; smells sweet and wild. Then ripe, sweet and packed with rich chocolatey fruit. This is downright velvety for village wine, with tannins covered by the wine's material.
Juicy and very fresh. Lovely texture with a hint of creamy coffee! Real energy and texture. Maybe not for the long term, but lovely. (JR)
