Such a bargain! 2021 was a great Sauternes vintage and Suduiraut is top of the Sauternes tree – if you exclude Yquem. This great estate's second wine, a blend from younger Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc vines with an average age of 20 years. Bright gold. So rich and gorgeous and smooth and then it finishes beautifully and appetisingly dry and fresh. Quite long. Not as subtle as the grand vin but it's a small fraction of the price. GV (JR)

A year with a lot of freshness and depth in the whites, meaning a good year to launch this new range of dry whites for Suduiraut. This is just 3hl/h yield. (and just 1hl/h for the sweet wine), but they have managed all the same to deliver a gorgeous wine with clarity of flavour, with power, slate and spice.
