Note di degustazione
The 2021 Collina is close to an even split of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, with 8% Petit Verdot. It's a concentrated, nicely balanced, structured second wine that has both red and black currant-like fruit as well as classic notes of lead pencil, loamy earth, graphite, and spice. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, has a good spine of acidity, and a great finish.

The 2021 Collina Dalla Valle is a joyous wine. Bright, punchy and full of character, the 2021 is flat-out delicious. Crushed red berry fruit, cinnamon, cedar and sweet pipe tobacco coast from the glass. Vibrant acids lend tons of energy and freshness. Collina della Valle has long been one of my favorite wines in this category. The 2021 is an absolute knockout. Best of all, it will drink well with minimal cellaring.
