Note di degustazione
The 2015 Vosne-Romanée Les Barreaux has a very harmonious bouquet with redcurrant, cranberry and blackcurrant fruit that is well defined, conveying fine mineralité (perhaps more than the Chambolle-Musigny at this stage). The palate is very well balanced with supple tannin, veering more towards red fruit here with a harmonious and tensile, raspberry preserve and strawberry finish. Excellent - this comes recommended.

Quite intense on the nose. Real race and elegance. Quite a mineral finish. Lots of acidity – which is welcome. (JR)
(tasted from barrel; 50% new oak; from a crop level of just 20 hectoliters per hectare, according to Gros): Bright red-ruby color. Very ripe aromas of black raspberry, blackberry, licorice, bitter chocolate and lavender. Densely packed and intense, offering terrific inner-mouth tension to the flavors of darker fruit, flowers and spices. Really spreads out to saturate the palate on the rising, finely tannic finish. Village Vosne doesn't get much better than this.
