Mid cherry red. Lightly peppery dark-red fruit. Subtle but fragrant. Striking in its fruit purity and freshness. Very fine tannins. Juicy, complete and approachable. (JH)

Aromas of cherries, red berries, peonies and spices introduce the 2022 Marsannay Cuvée Marie Ragonneau, a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy wine that's suave and charming, concluding with a saline finish. As usual, it's a blend of several old-vine parcels dotted around the commune.
