Note di degustazione
The 2014 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is more expressive on the nose compared to the Latricières at the moment with ample red cherry and crushed strawberry notes, a little seaweed in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, very crisp with a fine bead of acidity, interwoven through the finish that has impressive persistence. This is a class above the Latricières-Chambertin at the moment - more vivacious and complex, more substance to boot.

Very ripe aromas of cherry, red berries and smoked meat. Concentrated, sappy and dense but light on its feet, displaying terrific cut and depth to its flavors of raspberry and salty minerality. Boasts terrific balance and a firm spine of tannins and acidity. The very fresh, long finish displays captivating floral lift.
