Note di degustazione
From gravely soils in Moulis, the 2019 Brillette hails from an estate that has recently been restructured, with Cabernet Sauvignon repositioned on the most appropriate terroirs. Exhibiting aromas of cassis, wild berries, loamy soil and pencil shavings, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and seamless, with lively acids and powdery tannins.

The 2019 Brillette is crisp and precise on the nose, offering blackberry, raspberry, cedar and light white pepper aromas and nicely integrated oak. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins and good substance and weight on the finish, which is defined by graphite and tobacco notes. Unapologetically classic in style, this should give 12–15 years of drinking pleasure.
The 2019 Brillette showed a bit of reduction on the nose, but eventually reveals attractive marine-tinged black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with round tannins, plenty of red and black fruit dusted with cedar and clove, though I would prefer more brightness on the finish. Tasted twice.
