All Merlot brought up 11 months in cement tanks, the 2023 Domaine Virginie Thunevin has juicy black cherries, leafy herbs, cedar, and some sappy, floral nuances on the nose. It's medium-bodied and nicely balanced, with supple tannins and integrated acidity. Drink bottles any time over the coming 10-12 years. Drink 2026-2036.

The 2023 Domaine Virginie Thunevin offers attractive purity on the nose with perfumed black cherry, blueberry and subtle violet scents. The palate is lively on the entry, touches of cola infuse the black fruit, a little dark chocolate toward the finish, but it retains balance and has pleasing drinkability, which is the aim here.
