Succulent apricot and peach aromas. Long, expressive and full of fruit personality that has excellent integration to the subtle autolysis. Very different to the classic large houses – the ripeness is so charming. (RH)

One of the high points of this range of releases is the 2019 Blanc de Noirs Les Ursules, a medium to full-bodied, taut and chiseled wine redolent of white flowers, crisp green orchard fruit, freshly baked bread, orange blossom and wet stones. Dense and layered, with a sweet core of fruit underpinned by brisk acids, it's one of Bouchard's cooler terroirs, so it's no surprise to see it succeed so completely in the warm 2019 vintage.
The 2019 Blanc de Noirs Les Ursules is deep, layered and super-expressive from start to finish. Pear, marzipan, dried flowers, plum and spice are beautifully laced together in this resonant, creamy Blanc de Noirs. All the elements are so well balanced. What a wine! Impeccable. Bottled with no dosage. Disgorged: 2023.
