Note di degustazione
The 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is full-bodied but boasts a seemingly paradoxical set of flavors in a narrow, citrusy band from lime zest to passion fruit. It then turns briny on the finish. Drink it over the next couple of years for its freshness.

The 2017 Clémentin de Pape Clément Blanc was picked from 30 August to 14 September. This is very primal on the nose that makes it a little difficult to assess. The palate is crisp and taut on the entry but feels slightly disjointed towards the second half. I will wait to see how this develops once in bottle.
This is a layered and phenolic white with a creamy texture and serious ripeness and beauty. Full-bodied, yet vivid and energetic. Serious second wine.
The entry-level white of Pape Clement is the 2017 Clementin de Pape Clement Blanc, which shows the fresh, vibrant style of the vintage nicely. Lemon curd, crushed rocks, and plenty of leafy herbs characteristics emerge from this nicely balanced, racy Sauvignon that’s ideal for drinking over the coming couple of years.
