Punteggio 90/100 · Da bere 2026-2033, Jeb Dunnuck, Mar 2026

Ripe red and black fruits, leafy herbs, and tobacco all emerge from the 2023 Château Siaurac, a beautiful Lalande de Pomerol based on 65% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc, and 7% Malbec that was aged 14 months in 60% concrete tanks, 35% oak barrels, and 5% amphora. Medium-bodied, it has a soft, supple mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a good finish. Drink this charming, balanced, satisfying effort over the coming 8-10 years. Drink 2026-2033.

Aromas of bark, nutmeg and plums follow through to a medium body with soft, integrated tannins that are caressing and beautiful. Very drinkable now. A blend of 65% merlot, 28% cabernet franc and 7% malbec. Drink or hold.

Plums, flowers, cocoa, and mint pop in the nose with just a bit of air, and swirling. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh, elegant, and already accessible. It is easy to find the freshness in the plums, and cherries with their chocolate accent, and soft-textures in the mid-palate, and in the finish. You can open this with pleasure om release ,and for more than a decade. The wine is a blend of 65% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Franc, and 7% Malbec.

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Siaurac offers up notes of Morello cherries and redcurrants followed by underlying notes of sauteed herbs, tapenade, and graphite. The medium-bodied palate is lively and uncomplicated, with delicate red berry flavors and a lightly chewy texture, finishing on an herbal note.
