The 2023 Marjosse is delicate, precise and nicely lifted. Floral aromatics lift a core of dark red cherry/plum fruit, cedar, tobacco and dried herbs. I can’t think of too many wines from anywhere in the world that can match Marjosse when it comes to providing pure pleasure and value.

I was thrilled to be able to taste the 2023 Château Marjosse, which I don't often get to taste. Coming from the home estate of Pierre Lurton (now retired from Cheval Blanc), it has a beautiful nose of pure red and black fruits as well as spicy wood, tobacco, and a touch of flowers. Balanced, medium-bodied, and elegant, this beautiful 2023 will evolve for at least a decade.
Fruity, forward, soft, round, and already delicious, the wine offers a lot of bang for the buck, as it is an easy pleasure to drink, and it sells for a song.
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2023 Marjosse Rouge springs from the glass with bold notes of juicy blackberries, fresh raspberries, and cinnamon stick leading to wafts of lavender and tilled soil. The medium-bodied palate delivers vivacious black and red berry flavors with a soft texture and refreshing line, finishing with a spicy kick. Nice!
