Juicy currants, black cherries, leather, and graphite, as well as some herbal, cedary nuances all emerge from the 2023 Château Larose Trintaudon. Based on 44% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 12% Petit Verdot and aged 12-17 months in barrel, it's medium-bodied, straight, and focused, with ripe yet firm tannins. Give this solid, old school beauty a year or two and drink over the following decade. Drink 2027-2036.

The 2023 Larose-Trintaudon is a very pretty Haut-Médoc. Crushed flowers, bright red-toned fruit, orange peel, cinnamon, mint and kirsch are all nicely lifted. The mid-weight style is quite attractive. The 2023 is just a touch slender. Otherwise, this is very good.
Cassis, red berries and hibiscus on the nose with hints of minerals and tobacco. Slightly chewy, with a medium body and juicy red fruit throughout. Fluid at the end. Cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot. Drink in 2027.
Medium-forward, bright red fruit, and tobacco-filled, early-drinking charmer, with accents of mint at the end, offering a refreshing finish. This is fine for early, uncomplicated drinking pleasure.
