Note di degustazione
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot aged 12 months in oak (25% new), the 2023 Château La Tour De By sports a ruby/plum hue as well as solid aromatics of cassis and darker berries intermixed with spicy wood and tobacco. It's medium-bodied and has a nicely balanced, concentrated mouthfeel, plenty of tannins, and a good finish. It's rock solid, and I see no reason it shouldn't keep for 15 years if well stored. Drink 2026-2041.

The 2023 La Tour de By offers ample blackberry and boysenberry fruit on the nose, the oak neatly integrated, demonstrating delineation and sense of purpose. The palate is medium-bodied with gently gripping tannins, moderate depth, fine sapidity, with a classically styled finish. Yeah... I'll take a bottle of this!
Darker cherries, mulberries spicy oak, and some graphite notes all emerge from the 2023 Château La Tour de By, a medium-bodied, balanced, impressively concentrated Médoc that has tons to love. It has the fresher, lively style of the vintage yet brings some serious fruit.
Fresh, and fruity, round, and creamy, the wine pops with loads of ripe, dark, sweet, cherries, plums and blackberries on the palate, that continue through to the creamy, licorice, and black cherry packed finish.
