Although technically the second wine of Les Cruzelles, Noëmie Durantou Reilhac emphasised that the quality of the fruit was so good in 2023 that it is much more than that. The nose is ripe and sweet, with a chalky, fresh palate. It’s vibrant with beautifully refined tannins and a long, seamless finish. Aged in 40% new oak, with 14.3% alcohol. Blend: 100% Merlot

All Merlot, the 2023 Château La Chenade has a gorgeous nose of darker fruits, plums, tobacco, and subtle damp earth-like notes. Tasting like a terrific Pomerol, this ripe, medium to full-bodied, voluptuous effort excels in the vintage.
Sweet cherries, flowers, and chocolate show in the nose. On the palate, the wine is soft, elegant, silky, and fresh. The fruit is sweet, ripe, and pure, with vibrance, and a touch of cocoa in the finish. Produced from 100% Merlot, 14.3% ABV.
La Chenade 2023 is 100% Merlot and is deep garnet-purple in color. Notes of blueberry pie, juicy raspberries, and Morello cherries erupt from the glass, leading to hints of graphite, dried herbs, and wafts of tar. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock-full of juicy black fruits, supported by grainy tannins and well-knit freshness, finishing long and earthy.
