Punteggio 91-100/100 · Da bere 2026-2030, Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider, May 2024

White peaches, flowers, mango, spice, and vanilla aromatics offer the charms easily. The palate is lush, fresh, round, and fruity, with a hint of vanilla, and white peach that comes in at the end of the finish. The wine blends 32% Sauvignon Blanc, 23% Chardonnay, 23% Gros Manseng, and 22% Viognier planted in 6 hectares of vines, making it slightly easier to find, now that the production has increased. The wine is vinified in stainless steel and barrel-aged in 70% new, French oak barrels.

The 2023 du Tertre Blanc sashays out with showy notes of honey-drizzled peaches and juicy pears plus hints of lemongrass and orange blossom. The medium-bodied palate is lively and refreshing, with loads of spicy accents and good length. The blend is 32% Sauvignon Blanc, 23% Chardonnay, 23% Gros Manseng, and 22% Viognier.

Always fresh and energetic, with sliced apple, mango, lime and a hint of pear. Medium body, crisp acidity and a crunchy finish. 32% sauvignon blanc, 23% chardonnay, 23% gros manseng and 22% viognier.

The 2023 du Tertre Blanc has a neutral, petrichor-scented nose that needs a bit more personality. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, quite fresh on the entry but missing some complexity and nuance on the finish. This isn’t bad—just not memorable.
