Note di degustazione
The 2023 Clement-Pichon has a light, earthy nose that is missing the fruit concentration of its peers. The palate is medium-bodied with rather hard tannins on the entry, quite strict and a little austere toward the finish. Needs to loosen up.

Warm spices, plums and mostly dark berries with a touch of red. The medium- to full-bodied palate shows abundant, fleshy fruit and round, lustrous tannins that focus toward the finish, with a hint of cedar. Fruit-forward for the vintage. A blend of 81% merlot and 19% cabernet sauvignon. Enjoyable now but will improve substantially. Drink or hold.
Tobacco, herbs, cigar wrapper, flowers, and currants form the core of the wine in the nose, and on the palate. Forward, round, fruity, and savory, with ample, savory fruits on the palate, and in the finish. You can enjoy this with pleasure on release. The wine blends 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, with 19% Merlot. 13.3% ABV.
Ripe dark berries with hints of walnut and spice. Medium-bodied with juicy acidity and firm, chewy tannins.
