Only Grand Cru and with no malolactic fermentation, the 2014 Champagne Louis XV Brut has 6 grams per liter and was disgorged in 2023. Offering notes of custard and fresh pastry cream, with medium to full body, it exhibits maturity, elegance, and finesse. 15,000 bottles were produced.

The 2014 Louis XV Brut Millésimé, the latest release of de Venoge’s premium cuvée, is a blend of equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, disgorged with a dosage of six grams per liter. It reveals a complex, sweet bouquet of marzipan, pastry, confit citrus, blanched almonds and spices. Medium to full-bodied, it’s round and enrobed with a delicately vinous core of fruit, offering a sweet mid-palate and a long, mouthwatering and spicy finish. While it will benefit from additional bottle age, it is also enjoyable today.
The 2014 Brut Miilésimé Louis XV, a blend of half Chardonnay and half Pinot Noir from the Grand Crus of Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs, offers notes of grilled cashew on the nose, suggesting premature evolution. However, the smoky nuttiness complements the bright, sprightly freshness of the palate, enlivened by a vivid, lively, persistent mousse.
