The 2020 The Maiden is a gorgeous wine. Bright and focused, with lovely depth, the 2020 is absolutely impeccable in its balance. Bright red-toned fruit, crushed flowers, spice and blood orange all run through. The 2020 is perhaps a bit light in body, but it’s a terrific example of what was possible in a difficult year. Pretty floral top notes reappear to lift the finish.
