Punteggio 98/100 · Da bere 2025-2032, Luis Gutiérrez, Wine Advocate, Oct 2024

2022 was a warmer year, and the wine is in the style of 2020, perhaps with more fruit and a little more ripeness. The 2022 Táganan Parcela Margalagua has fruit, elegance and a medium body with very fine tannins. It’s very harmonious, with an ethereal quality to it. It has a combination of dried flowers, crushed rocks, herbs and a marine whiff that makes it quite distinct. It's a very regular vineyard, but this is now a certified single-vineyard wine from the new Islas Canarias Tenerife appellation. 1,800 bottles were filled in July 2023.

Punteggio 17/20 · Da bere 2024-2030, Jancis Robinson MW, May 2024

Single-vineyard mixed planting at 150–250 m in elevation planted over 100 years ago. Fermented in used 500-litre barrels with the whole grape clusters included, and then aged in neutral 500-litre French oak barrels for 11 months. Meaty, mineral, cherry-berry, with a tobacco smokiness, touch of clove – feels hippy in all the right ways. Bell-bottom pants, swinging freshness and joy, with a pureness to the flavours and feel that make it especially attractive. (TQT)
