The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Village, which was de-stemmed, offers blackberry and crushed chalk aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine bead of acidity, quite feisty towards the finish with orange pith and marmalade imparting an exotic element. Rather spicy on the aftertaste, this should be afforded 2 or 3 years in bottle.
