2021 Nuits St Georges Les Belles Croix

The 2021 Nuits Saint-Georges Belle Croix has a clean, precise nose with crushed stone filtering through the vivid red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, a little more pedigree and nuance than the La Charmotte with impressive persistence on the finish. Very fine.

Earthy and distinctly sauvage aromas of mostly red and dark currant introduce more voluminous, bigger and richer medium-bodied flavors that flash less minerality on the more overtly rustic bitter pit fruit-inflected finale. This is good as well if more obviously Nuits in character with firmer if less refined tannins
