The 2021 Margaux de Brane comes from the youngest vines on the estate. It has a light, slightly earthy bouquet that perhaps is missing just a bit of fruit, but it contains sufficient freshness. The palate is medium-bodied with an herbaceous opening, quite angular in style with a light, almost austere finish.
The 2021 Margaux de Brane is a soft, easygoing wine to drink now and over the next handful of years while the fruit remains bright. Sweet pipe tobacco, cedar, spice and earthy notes unfold in the glass. Margaux de Brane is sourced mostly from young vines, with a Cabernet Sauvignon focus.
Offering up aromas of blackberries mingled with loamy soil, the 2021 Margaux de Brane is medium-bodied, succulent and expressive, with a giving, open-knit profile. It's produced from young vines across the estate (everything under 10 years old is now picked separately, as young vines ripen sooner) and some sandier terroirs, and it's matured in oak vats.
Informazioni sul produttore

Château Brane-Cantenac has been a consistent performer in the Margaux wine appellation since Henri Lurton took over the property, but thanks to replanting and investment in the last decade, quality has seen another sharp upswing.
