The 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos Solon has a nicely perfumed bouquet with blackcurrant leaf and light raspberry scents that unfurl with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with simple, fleshy red fruit laced with a dash of white pepper. This is going to make for early drinking as there is not a lot of backbone, but it does deliver ample purity of fruit.
